About The Author

March 8, 2008

Hello. My name is Tabitha K. Kietero. I am also known as (the) Raven.

I am a writer.

I have been writing literally my entire life, ever since I learned how to write. I have made up stories, poems, songs, even before I learned how to write.

Most of all that older writing is gone, lost to the mists of time, destroyed by well-meaning family, lost during moves, destroyed in freak accidents.

A great deal of it does remain.

Here is a brief summary of my writing career to date.

I began to keep a journal faithfully, age 10.

I began writing poetry for public consumption at age 10. Said poetry was published in church bulletins from AL to WV.

During all three years of high (skipped junior year and proceeded directly to senior year), I:

Wrote poetry, personal use and for competition

Wrote short stories, essays, research papers, speeches, articles, personal use and for competition

Ghost-wrote articles, essays, research papers, speeches, thesis, poetry, short stories, outlines

Co-wrote novellas, poetry, articles, speeches, and short stories with various other writers for personal use and competition

Several articles, papers and poems won various awards and recognition throughout that entire period, in school and outside of school.

Notoriety was gained for my writing style through five high schools in the areas where I attended school. English teachers far and wide knew when I wrote for others, even in collaboration, and I received a great deal of positive feedback for my writing.

After high school, I continued to journal, to write short stories and to write poetry. At this time, I wrote mostly for myself and for those around me.

Then I entered into the business world.

Here I wrote business articles, lectures, speeches, presentations, formal correspondence, less formal business correspondence.

I began to ghost-write heavily here. See above for descriptions.

I learned event scripting as well at this time and I put that knowledge to good use many times.

I have never stopped journaling. I have never stopped writing short stories, or poetry, or novellas. I have now expanded into writing sermons, class curriculums, children’s stories, meditations for children and adults, personal essays, articles, newsletters, copy writing, reviews, more speeches, lectures, presentations, how-to articles and seminars.

I have worked on no less than three different organizations newsletters where I have been the writer answering customer’s questions. I have written a spiritual advice column, a marriage and/or relationship column, a sexual advice column, and a meditation column.

I also write reviews of books, movies, television programs, stores, restaurants, events, locations, vacations, hotels, music, you name it and I will write about it.

I have been editor of several newsletters and e-zines. I have written course description for schools, as well as having written some actual course curriculums. I have written actual text books for several classes, mostly for younger children. I have written guide manuals for various topics, such as hands on healing, Reiki, Healing touch, Yoga, meditation, education, crystal healing, alternative spiritualities, various religions and religious sects.

At the current time I continually submit articles to various sources online. I steadily write creatively, both short stories and poetry. I maintain several blogs for numerous reasons.

I am in the process of working with a publisher to bring several of my children’s books into print for public consumption and distribution.

My current works-in-progress include a knitting book and a romance novel of horrific proportions.
